Welcome to George Mitchell School

George Mitchell School is a popular and successful All-through school, educating children across three phases: Early Years, Primary and Secondary. We have almost 1000 children from nursery age to Year 11. Being an all-through school gives us great opportunities to tailor our curriculum and provision to the needs of every child and we are continuously looking at ways to stretch and challenge our students.

Dear Families,

In line with current government guidance, the school buildings will be closed for all year groups from Tuesday 5th January and learning will take place remotely.

Key worker and vulnerable provision will begin on Thursday 7th January. If you are a key worker and need to book a place for your child, please email your requirements to the Head of Primary: samantha.hill@georgemitchellschool.co.uk
