Dear Parents/Carers of Secondary students
We hope you have had a good Easter break and that you and your families remain in good health. Summer Term for all our students starts at 8.45 Monday 20th April.
Although we are not physically in school it is expected that ALL students will resume doing 4-5 hours of work set by their teachers every day at home, starting on Monday morning at 9am, either online (Google Classroom) or on paper if they do not have access to a computer.
Please try and ensure that your child has some dedicated time to work and attempts the following:
When we return to working in school your child will be massively disadvantaged if they have not been completing the work set by their teachers.
Teachers and Learning Leaders will be monitoring the work being completed and will be contacting students and parents to offer support.
If your child is unable to access Google Classroom for what ever reason please call the school (02085396198) and request a paper pack.
You will be receiving a letter from the Headteacher this week with further guidance.

Following this evening’s announcement that England is in lockdown again, George Mitchell School will close tomorrow and remain closed until further notice.
All students will be taught remotely during this period.
